Acrylic

The higher the gloss the deeper the colours which is why Acrylic is the first choice for high end photographic prints and commercial signage.

Acrylic has the appearance of glass, some suppliers call it Acrylic Glass, however there is no glass in it which makes it much safer, being far less likely to break.

Acrylic - Clear - 5mm Thick

5mm Acrylic is an ideal choice for most print sizes since it is thick enough to give it the rigidity to retain flatness up to large sizes without the weight issues of 10mm. Besides full colour we can also print acrylic semi-transparent, or a combination of solid areas of colour and unprinted clear areas: e.g. a clear border or a logo on a clear background.

Acrylic - Translucent (Opal) 10mm Thick

Translucent (Opal) Acrylic is a rigid plastic sheet with a finish like glass suited to backlit applications where a rigid panel is required, for example the front panel of a lightbox. Be aware that 10mm is very heavy and normally 5mm is used for such purposes. Large Acrylic Sheets are very heavy and therefore must only be handled and installed by experienced installers. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that health and safety considerations have been satisfied.
